Lesson 3 to 7
Lesson Instructions:
- Work through one lesson per week. Each lesson should take approximately 30 minutes.
- Print all PDF worksheets in each activity to assist you during the lessons and for Homework.
- Print PDF Homework worksheet and go through the Homework tasks 15min each day over the week between lessons.
In lesson 3, students will learn the following skills/content:
- Revise the treble clef notes using the hand staff
- Play #8 melody on guitar
- Clap the rhythm of #9
- Revise the guitar strings
- Revise playing B, A, G in random order on the guitar
- Learn to play an Em chord
- Continue playing 7 Nation Army adding a new finger (Pinkie) to 8th fret
In lesson 4, students will learn the following skills/content:
- Revise treble clef notes, using the hand staff and applying a titi ta rhythmic ostinato
- Revise playing B,G, A in Random order
- Play #9 Melody on the Guitar
- Clap #10 Rhythm
- Learn to play a A chord to add to your chord progression
- continue playing 7 Nation Army adding two new fingers. Pinkie to 8th fret and ring (3rd) finger to 3rd fret
In lesson 5, students will learn the following skills/content:
- Revise treble clef notes, using the hand staff and applying a titi ta rhythmic ostinato
- Revise playing B,G, A in Random order
- Play #10 Melody on the Guitar
- Clap #11 Rhythm
- Learn to play a C chord to add to your chord progression
- Continue playing 7 Nation Army adding two new fingers. Pinkie to 8th fret and ring (3rd) finger to 3rd fret + add slaps
In lesson 6, students will learn the following skills/content:
- Revise treble clef notes, using the hand staff and applying a titi ta rhythmic ostinato
- Play #11 melody on guitar
- Clap #12 Rhythm
- Learn the rhythm of a Quaver and how to clap #52 melody chart
- Revise the chord progression of Em, A, C, Em
- Practice playing 7 Nation Army
In lesson 7, students will learn the following skills/content:
- Play #12 melody on guitar
- Clap the rhythm of Hot Cross Buns
- Clap the Rhythm of #52 melody chart and move the rhythm to different parts of your body
- Learn a G chord on Guitar and a new chord progression of G, Em, C, G
- Learn to read Tab
- Learn Part A of Mission Impossible Theme
- Learn a drm Game to practice hand sign
